I only started losing a little weight at 75 mg. I have been on Topamax, 50 mg for a week, and I have already lost 5 lbs. But I wish the manufacture would just change the taste of the pill, its fast dissolve and strong peppermint taste. I just starting Topamax for my tension headaches. also could this drug alter my brain function since I know it is used for bi-polar and seizure disorder. I noticed in the last month that the tension headaches are just as bad as my Migraines. :). I also had the taste change when drinking soda which also got better but more recently.
